It seems like it's not officially the rainy season until some parts of the country are bracing for flash floods while other parts have no access to running water.
Just ask residents of Lanse Mitan, Big Yard, Scorpion Village, Haig Street, Pt Cumana and School Street, Carenage, whose pipe borne water supply was interrupted this afternoon as a result of electrical problems at the Tucker Valley Pumping Station in North West Trinidad.
The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has issued an apology to affected customers and "assures customers that every effort is being made to restore their supply in the shortest possible time".
