Problem: Kamla Beepat from Chaguanas said she visited Courts’ Chaguanas branch on July 15 to purchase a king-size Therapedic mattress. She said she was told it wasn’t in stock but she would get it in less than two weeks if she paid for it. Ms Beepat said she paid for it, “But it’s about three weeks now I have been waiting and yet my mattress hasn’t been delivered. “I called just recently and was told they haven’t got it in stock as yet and I will have to come in to the branch to take something else.
“But I don’t want any other mattress. I want the Therapedic mattress which they told me I will get within a week and half so I paid for it.”
Solution: Ms Beepat’s complaint was forwarded to Unicomer and they immediately got in touch with her on August 6 and her mattress was delivered that same day. Unicomer explained the delay was “mainly due to acquiring the item as it was low in stock.”
