Hospitalised MP Griffith "stable" but "needs rest"

Minister of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Dr Rupert Griffith, who collapsed yesterday evening, remains warded at St. Clair Medical Centre.

"Dr. Griffith’s condition has been described by his doctors as stable, but requiring rest, as he is extremely exhausted," said a media release from the Ministry of Communications.

Griffith, who is the MP for Toco/Sangre Grande, collapsed yesterday evening, shortly after delivering remarks at the formal opening of Microsoft's offices on Mucurapo Road, St. James. he was taken to hospital shortly after.
