Russell Lalloo, the brother of Howard Lalloo, who was gunned down on Monday, is calling on the police to bring his brother’s killer or killers to justice. Speaking with the media outside the Forensic Science Centre, St James, yesterday, Russell Lalloo said the family was shocked and saddened by his brother’s murder.
The eldest son among five children, Howard Lalloo, 45, of Southern Main Road, La Romaine, was found dead in his Toyota Prado Land Cruiser along Milton Road on Monday around 2.30 pm. Police say they received an anonymous phone call alerting them to the body.
Lalloo, a quality assurance officer at the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA), was described as a very quiet person. Both police and relatives believe Lalloo knew his killer as none of his valuables were missing.
“The family is shocked by this incident and we would want some justice. We want the police to exercise their powers. We see the police are dealing with the matter professionally, but at the end of the day we want to see some justice,” Russell Lalloo said.
