Gerald Aboud, managing director of Starlite Pharmacy, says they have brought their passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle to the people of south Trinidad with the opening of a new branch at South Park. Excited about expanding their business to South, Aboud was confident that the store would be just as successful as their other two branches in Diego Martin and Maraval.
In his brief remarks, Aboud said, “Starlite puts a lot of passion into what we do and we are here to share that passion with the people in South. We bring more to the table, we bring our passion and we bring a healthy lifestyle.
“We are not here to sell products, we are here to sell health and real health starts with eating healthy, living healthy and that’s what we do here. We put a lot of passion in that.”
Aboud said Starlite was well know for its wide variety of products and services, including freshly cooked meals, fresh cold-pressed juices and pharmaceuticals.
He said they have been in business for the last 21 years. “People know us and they love us and they have been waiting for us. So we are here at South.” Aboud thanked his staff, headed by purchasing manager Kawana Reuben, for their hard work in getting the branch ready for yesterday’s opening. He also thanked their suppliers.
Following the opening, members of the public were invited to come in, shop, and to partake in the refreshments and giveaways.
