Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old schoolgirl from Sangre Grande who went missing last Thursday.
According to a release from the T&T Police Service (TTPS) Public Affairs Unit issued yesterday, Akeila James was reported missing by her mother Helen Courtney after left home around 9 am that morning and did not return.
James is a Form Four student of the Guaico Secondary School. She was last seen wearing an orange top, a pair of black pants and a pair of slippers, the release said.
Anyone with information which may assist in locating James are asked to contact police at 555, 999, 911, at their nearest police station or call 800-TIPS.
