The killing of a 31-year-old man yesterday took the murder toll to 258. Police said Raymond Emmanuel of Block Eight, Laventille, died on the spot after he was shot by gunmen outside his home. A report said around 11.30 am, Emmanuel was at home when someone called out to him. He went outside and was shot five times. Neighbours who heard the gunshots called the police.
Officers of the Inter Agency Task Force, Homicide Bureau and Besson Street Police Station responded. Investigations are continuing.
